Panos Kosmas and Lorenzo Crocco are organizing for the forthcoming EuCAP in Davos a half-day short course on “Microwave imaging for medical diagnostics: from theory to implementation”:
http://www.eucap.org/
The short course will introduce the audience to the theory of electromagnetic (EM) inverse scattering, present some current applications in the framework of medical diagnostics, and also provide hands-on tools for interested researchers who wish to embark on this field. The course can help PhD students, early-stage, and more experienced researchers to understand how to approach microwave tomography and be aware of the steps needed to implement the relevant algorithms.
This is the second edition for this course, which was very well-attended and received at last year’s EuCAP.
