Proposal of a European Training School on HTA

MiMed in collaboration with the Children’s Hospital “Bambino Gesù”(OPBG) in Rome is organising a European Training School on Health Technology Assessment.

The School will take place in the OPBG facilities in Rome on 21-23/03/2016.

This is a timely opportunity as the Department of Clinical Engineering of the OPBG is offering their lecturing support and access to their facilities. Moreover, COST is going through dramatic budget cutting that might jeopardise the organization of this event in the following years.

Due to short notice, I encourage anyone interested in attending the School to manifest interest by November 30th. You can simply sign in on the provided doodle http://doodle.com/poll/6yagcqebk6zak5zm

The School will take place only if a minimum number of fifteen attendees is reached!

There are a good number (minimum 15, but we may consider giving more grants if enough interest is raised) of support grants awarded by MiMed. The grant will be a fixed amount (provisionally set to 600~650€) which must be used towards the total cost of attending the Training School (flights+accomodation+subsistence+registration up to €60).

In the brochure OPBG_HTA_School you can find a more detailed description of the School. But for further questions regarding the Training School please feel free to contact the point-of-contact for our Training School, Giuseppe Ruvio (giuseppe.ruvio@dit.ie).
